Name: Rebecca
Gender: Female

Interests: Ah well. If you must know. I am interested in becoming more like the Lord Jesus Christ, attachment parenting, moving OUT of new jersey, finding a good fishing spot, mixing up a brew of raspberry lemonade, and thinking about the expansion of my extended family. Yes you read that right. Other than that, it's all about life, laundry, and everything in between.
Expertise: Taking pictures that never get put into albums. Road trips with the girlies. Finding books and then some more.

So true.

"Most of what is killing our Spiritual love for Jesus Christ is not morally sinful, but morally neutral.. we have given something that is not wicked or sinful an undue amount of position in our life and it's robbing us of your affection for Jesus Christ. We've made good things "ultimate things", robbing us of a desire & passion to follow Jesus." -matt chandler

Rain, rain, go away.

And I'm wishing the sun would come out and dry up all the rain, one reason being then we can cut the grass. This is getting embarrassing. Unfortunately my neighbors seem to be fine with cutting their soaking wet grass and everyone except for us and one or two other houses are all nice and trimmed and here we seem to be waiting for  King Nebuchadnezzar .

Twas a nice weekend away, the countryside was beautiful and the children were healthy and happy and the company couldn't be any better.

Thanks for coming, Betty Aunty, and do it again soon!!

And so the year is winding down, here is hoping the next one brings joy, health, and peace to us all. I could probably write a few pages on my reflections of the last 365 days, but it's all summed up in I miss my mom, holidays aren't the same, going back home isn't the same, my heart isn't the same, everything feels different and I guess it always will.  I am thankful for my dad, my siblings, their families, my husband , my sweet children, all the wonderful friends we have, and for the promises and the hopes that we hold for the coming year. God is good, all the time, underneath it all are His everlasting Arms.
